SkinFitMD employs highly trained and experienced staff that offer a wealth of knowledge and are committed to helping you with your skin care needs. Our aestheticians assist with cosmetic consultations and perform chemical peels, IPL, Thermage, and other laser treatments. They can also help you select a skin care regiment that is tailored to your specific skin type and concerns.
The staff works closely with our dermatologists to ensure each patient receives the individual attention and follow up that are essential to achieving excellent results.
Jane
Cosmetic Dermal Therapist, Specialist Laser Technician & Treatment Co-ordinator
Jane has ample experience in this role having worked exclusively for dermatologists, plastic and cosmetic surgeons in the Vancouver area for over 15 years. She is certified as a laser technician in all the key technologies such as Fraxel, Thermage, and IPL.
She holds two diplomas in aesthetics and beauty therapy, including one from the prestigious CIDESCO International. Jane is also a trainer for industry professionals and schools such as Blanche Macdonald Centre.
In treating patients, Jane’s objective is to first educate and then provide the most suitable cosmetic solutions—even for the most challenging skin concerns.
Sara
Cosmetic Dermal Therapist, Specialist Laser Technician & Treatment Co-ordinator
Sara’s background in cosmetology spans over 20 years, from when she received her first certifications as a fully qualified aesthetician. Since then she has worked in a range of medical offices assisting specialists and setting up and managing cosmetic clinics.
In 2004 she expanded her expertise by completing a series of professional certifications for CosMedic aesthetician, pulsed light technology (IPL), chemical peels and microdermabrasion. She is also a fully qualified laser technician for Fraxel, Thermage, and several other laser platforms.
Sara has been a valued part of the SkinFitMD team since 2007. She is a dedicated professional, who works closely with each patient to help achieve his or her skincare goals.
