The treatment can be used successfully on the face, neck, chest, shoulders and hands.
IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) also known as Photorejuvenation or photo facial, is a non-invasive treatment used to help correct a variety of skin concerns such as brown freckles, age or sun spots, redness, rosacea, broken capillaries, spider veins, enlarged pores, fines lines—and even unwanted hair.
The treatment can be used successfully on the face, neck, chest, shoulders and hands.

After the 30-minute treatment, there will be some mild redness and possibly some swelling like you’ve experienced a sunburn. This is short-lived, so the minimal downtime means you can return to normal activities the next day as well as wear makeup.
You will need to apply sunscreen daily to minimize sun exposure and to maintain your results. Note: IPL treatments are not as effective on tanned skin and treatments should be scheduled accordingly.
The number of treatments required will be tailored to your individual needs. Most patients will require 2-5 treatments for optimum results, with maintenance treatments done periodically to maintain the excellent benefits.
Don’t be confused by “IPL therapy” promotions offered in spas and salons or on Groupon —medical-grade IPL Photorejuvenation must be provided in a physicians’ clinic and is significantly more effective than these other treatments.
